ABOUT THE GAME
About Arrow Puzzle, a game built around clear paths.
Arrow Puzzle is a free browser logic game about reading direction, checking an exit lane, and making one satisfying clear move at a time. It is designed for calm, visible problem-solving rather than speed or guesswork.
Why we built Arrow Puzzle
We made Arrow Puzzle for the small moment when you want a puzzle to begin immediately and give you a rule you can trust. There is no long setup and no hidden trick to memorize. Each piece points in one fixed direction. If the straight route in front of its arrowhead reaches the edge of the board without crossing another arrow, that piece can leave. If something occupies that lane, it must stay for now.
That simple check creates the character of the game. A clear arrow may make room for another one; a crowded row can turn into an open route after a single move. The challenge is not reacting quickly. It is noticing which visible relationship on the board has changed and deciding what that new space makes possible. We wanted every successful move to feel earned because the reason for it was there to see.
Arrow Puzzle is an independently maintained browser game. Its boards, rules, and interface are built around an original clear-path puzzle system, with each level intended to reward patient observation instead of a copied sequence or a timer-driven rush.
What the Arrow Puzzle game asks you to do
The goal is to clear every arrow from the board. Begin by looking at an arrowhead, then trace a straight line from that head to the edge in the direction it points. The full exit lane must be empty. An arrow can look free at first glance and still be blocked farther along its route, so checking the whole lane matters more than choosing the nearest piece.
Once a safe arrow leaves, the board changes. A piece that was blocked a moment ago may now have an open route, while another move may be more useful because it clears a crowded column. This is the rhythm of Arrow Puzzle: scan the board, confirm one route, make the move, and scan again. It gives a compact puzzle enough depth to stay interesting without making the rule harder to explain.
Three lives, three hints
Every level begins with three lives and three hints. A blocked tap costs a life, so there is a real reason to slow down and verify a lane. A hint highlights one arrow that is currently safe; it does not remove the piece for you. The game still leaves the decision and the next route check in your hands.
No timer, no guessing
Arrow Puzzle has no timer. You can pause over a dense board, follow a route cell by cell, or restart to test a different opening order. The intended solution is always grounded in the visible layout: every move becomes valid because space has opened in front of it.
100 original boards, one readable rule
The current Arrow Puzzle game includes 100 levels. Early boards introduce the route check with approachable layouts, then the level set gradually asks you to read denser arrangements, longer paths, and shapes that make the next clear exit less obvious. The difficulty comes from the way arrows affect one another, not from adding a different rule for every stage.
Each board is made to be solvable through the same clear-path principle. You do not need to memorize a special move, buy an extra attempt, or wait for a daily reset. A useful habit is to start at the outer edges, check arrows that face outward, and then look for a single blocker that can be removed safely. When several moves are available, choose the one that creates the most useful open space and see what it reveals.
A route is clear only when every part of the lane ahead is open. It is worth checking beyond the first empty space, especially on a busy board where a distant arrow can still prevent an exit. This is what makes Arrow Puzzle a logic game rather than a tapping game: one careful observation can protect a life and set up the next useful move.
That approach keeps Arrow Puzzle welcoming for a short break while leaving room for more deliberate play. A simple level can be cleared in a few careful checks. A crowded one can invite a slower pass around its lanes, a hint when you want confirmation, and the satisfaction of seeing a chain of exits open one after another.
Built for the browser
Arrow Puzzle is free to play directly in a modern browser. There is no download, account, or sign-in step before the first level. The same game can be played with touch controls on a phone or tablet and with a mouse on desktop. The board rule does not change with the device: read the direction, trace the exit lane, and tap only when the route is clear.
Completed levels are remembered locally in the browser where you play. That means the same browser on the same device can keep track of your progress on a later visit without asking you to create an account. It also means progress does not automatically transfer between different devices or browsers. This tradeoff keeps the start simple and lets you get straight back to a board.
Learn by playing
If the rule is new to you, the How to Play Arrow Puzzle guide includes a live practice board and a fuller explanation of lives, hints, blocked lanes, and beginner strategy. It uses the same route checks as the game itself.

The Arrow Puzzle FAQ covers the practical details: free play, restarts, mobile support, local progress, and what to do when a board feels stuck. It is written as a reference you can return to between levels.
How we keep improving the game
Arrow Puzzle is a small game, and that is intentional. We focus on the pieces that make a browser puzzle feel good to return to: clear controls, readable boards, original level variety, and instructions that describe what the player can actually do. When the game changes, the changelog records player-facing improvements so the site remains an honest guide to the current version.
Feedback is useful when it identifies a moment that felt unclear, a device that needs a better interaction, or a kind of board you would enjoy seeing more often. The game should be easy to open, clear enough to understand, and deep enough that a new route can still surprise you after many levels. That is the direction we are continuing to build toward.
